This
website is an ongoing project of Bradford County Tourism Grants Committee,
which is supported by Bradford County Room Tax funds.
These
funds are collected by lodgings throughout the county and administered
by Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau. A portion of those funds is
made available for the county to request back through a grant program
funding county developed projects such as this website.
Other
projects included:
A
contest involving elementary students throughout the county who voted
for their favorite mammal, bird, amphibian, reptile, flower and tree
to become county symbols. Bradford County Conservation District partnered
with Bradford County Tourism Grants Committee for this project. Selected
by the children were: Deer, Bald Eagle, Black Eyed Susan, Painted
Turtle and Maple Tree.

releases keeping the public informed about Bradford County and committee
projects were regularly written and distributed.
